ITINERARY

DAY 1

• MEETING POINT: Lisbon or Madeira Airport (you choose)
• Flight to Funchal, Madeira
• Your host will be waiting for you at the Airport you choose
• Transfer to the 4* hotel in Funchal
• Relax at the hotel or take your time to enjoy the city, and explore the many local coffee shops and restaurants with great views over the Atlantic.

DAY 2

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Transfer to a leading Madeira winery
• Guided tour with a tasting of famous Madeira wines
• Visit Cabo Girão, Europe’s highest cape (580 m) from where you can enjoy a fantastic view over Funchal, the south coast and the ocean. It is now Europe’s highest cliff skywalk.
• Lunch in a local restaurant
• Transfer to the birthplace bar of Poncha, the iconic Madeira alcoholic drink
• Tasting Poncha / relax in the bar
• Transfer to the north coast of Madeira
• Sightseeing and free time
• Transfer back to the hotel
• Relax at the hotel or take your time to enjoy the city of Funchal

DAY 3

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Boat trip with dolphin watching and Madeira wine tasting, also with a stop for swimming in the ocean (in case of good weather conditions)
• Free time for lunch in a restaurant in Funchal
• Visit the Wine Lodge with a tasting of Madeira wines
• Back to the hotel
• Relax at the hotel or take your time to enjoy the city of Funchal

DAY 4

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Visit the famous Funchal fruit market
• Cable car tour from Funchal to Monte
• Visit the gardens, church and palace in Monte
• Ride back to Funchal by toboggan
• Lunch in a local restaurant
• Visit a premium winery in Funchal
• Guided tour with a tasting of Madeira wines
• Relax at the hotel or take your time to enjoy the city of Funchal

DAY 5

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Check-out the hotel
• Transfer to the airport
• Flight back home

Services canceled 72 to 48 hours before service – 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before service – 100% cancellation fee.
