The most famous white wines of Portugal are produced in the northern part of the country, in the cool climate of the Vinho Verde region. Come and explore the lush vegetation of this territory, along with the culture and tradition of making these amazing wines full of minerality and freshness.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• MEETING POINT: Porto Airport
• Your host will be waiting for you at the Airport to transfer you to your hotel in the Douro Valley
• Check-in the hotel
• Sightseeing tour and lunch in a local restaurant
• Optional: transfer to a leading sparkling wine producer in the Douro
• Relax and free time

DAY 2

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Cruise on the Douro River to the wine estate’s port
• Guided visit in the winery
• Followed by lunch with a tasting of 5 wines
• Relax on the terrace with a view of Douro Valley
• Boat trip back on the river
• Pinhão sightseeing
• Transfer to famous Casa de Mateus
• Full castle guided tour & garden visit
• On the way back to the hotel, stop at the most beautiful viewpoint of the Douro Valley
• Transfer back to the hotel
• Relax and free time

DAY 3

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Transfer to a unique, organic winery of Vinho Verde, located at the Douro River
• Guided wine tour with a tasting
• The visit includes a stroll through the vineyards to see the main points of interest of the estate. After this, you can enjoy a tasting of 7 wines
• Transfer to Amarante, one of the most beautiful, charming and romantic towns in Europe
• Sightseeing, free time & lunch
• Transfer back to the hotel
• Relax and free time

DAY 4

• Breakfast in the hotel
• Transfer to the Porto Airport
